Jayne Berglund is a Washington transplant, choosing Tacoma as her home since 2014. She is a fundraising professional with a background in social work and community grassroots organizing.
Lisa Borkowski
Lisa Borkowski was born and raised in Washington state. She currently works for the Governor’s budget office and is just beginning her second decade in public service. Lisa is on the associate board of the YWCA Pierce County, and volunteers at a temporary shelter for children. She enjoys hiking, cuddling her cats, and staying up to date on the latest interior design trends.

Jessica Gavre
Jessica began her professional career working in community organizing around social justice issues, particular those impacting women and the LGBTQ community. In 2010, she was the Campaign Manger for Laurie Jinkins’ first campaign for the State Legislature and went to work as her Aide after they won. She currently works as a political consultant at Argo Strategies. Jessica founded South Sound Women’s Leadership after coming forward regarding sexual harassment she experienced while working as staff for the Washington State Legislature.

Jamie Romberg is an English Language Learners Consultant Teacher and mentor to new educators in Lakewood, WA. Residing in South Tacoma, she’s particularly passionate about the 29th legislative district. The election of Melanie Morgan was a huge win for her and her neighbors!
